How to remove the share button on facebook posts 2022

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Facebook does not provide an official option to remove the "Share" button from your own posts or others' posts on the platform. The ability to share content is a fundamental feature of Facebook, and this feature cannot be turned off or removed by individual users.

Please note that Facebook's features and settings may change over time, so it's possible that there have been updates or changes since my last update. I recommend checking Facebook's Help Center or their official support resources for the most current information regarding the removal of the "Share" button or any other specific settings or features you may want to modify on the platform.

Keep in mind that while you cannot remove the "Share" button, you can control the privacy settings of your posts to limit who can see and share them. This allows you to restrict the audience of your posts to only your friends or a custom list of people, which can help you manage who can interact with your content. To adjust the privacy settings for a post, follow these general steps:

  1. Create or locate the post you want to adjust.

  2. Click the three dots (...) in the top right corner of the post.

  3. Select "Edit audience" or "Edit privacy" (the wording may vary).

  4. Choose your desired audience from the options provided.

  5. Save your changes.

Again, please refer to Facebook's official resources for the most up-to-date information and instructions regarding post privacy settings and other platform features.
